I'm not normally an angry feminist, but for these next few minutes i am. I just can't believe that PETA is launching a porn website to get attention for animal rights. i get, animals are treated cruelly, but really? porn? really? Porn is just so disgusting, gross and degrading. Especially for women who are forced into the porn industry. PETA claims that all its actresses are consenting adults and that may be true, but what does that even mean? They still perpetuate and support an industry that devastates people. There are thousands women and girls forced into sexual slavery each year, many for the porn industry. By doing so PETA absolutely does not acknowledge the lives of victims of sexual slavery and other abuse. So what if the model's are willing to do this, that doesn't mean it right. I just can't get over how low and despicable PETA can get. I hate PETA openly now. I always knew that it was a questionable organization with all its nude models and supposed mistreatment of animals, but this just cements my distaste. So all those animal rights militants out there can just kiss my angry butt. Honestly I think that this kind of trade off isn't necessary. PETA is basically swapping animal cruelty for human cruelty. Instead of PETA (People for the ethical treatment of animals), it should be called People for ethical mistreatment of humans in the name of animal rights. PEMHNAR. *rant rant rant*
